Payment
Enter the amount already agreed.
Add the agreed GBP amount and a reference, then continue to Stripe's secure hosted Checkout page. Card or bank details are never entered on Amicable Resolve.
Agreed payment
Amount and reference. Nothing more.
The amount comes from the agreement already reached outside this payment flow. Amicable Resolve validates it and passes it to Stripe as a one-time GBP payment.
How payment works
A deliberate step into Stripe Checkout.
The entered amount remains the source of truth for the one-time Checkout Session.
Settlement flow · Future product direction
Payments may follow an agreement. They are not the agreement.
A future case record could show the payment obligation created by accepted terms, then reflect whether it has been completed. That settlement record is separate from the Checkout form above.
SETTLEMENT RECORD · SEPARATE FROM CHECKOUTBoth parties accept the terms.
£1,000 due by 24 Sep.
Future capability only.
The record reflects completion.
Straight answers
What is decided—and what is not.
Where does the payment amount come from?+
You enter the amount already agreed outside this payment flow. It is converted to pence on the server and sent to Stripe.
Where are card or Bacs details entered?+
On Stripe's hosted Checkout page. Amicable Resolve does not ask for or receive them in this form.
What happens to the reference?+
The reference is attached to the Checkout Session and resulting Stripe payment metadata.
Does payment guarantee resolution?+
No. Amicable Resolve can organize a case and support a clearer process; people remain responsible for decisions and outcomes.
